HSOT Game 17: New Hampton, N.H., 68, High Point Christian 51 (Randolph semifinal)

Indiana recruit Noah Vonleh finished with 18 points and 5 assists to lead New Hampton, N.H., to a 68-51 victory against High Point Christian in the semifinals of the Summit Hospitality bracket of the HighSchoolOT.com Holiday Invitational Friday night.

The victory advances the Huskies (9-1) to the Summit championship, which will be played at 9 p.m. Saturday night against Raleigh Word of God or Oxford Webb.

Tory Miller (13 points) and Travis Jorgenson (12) finished in double figures for New Hampton.

“I thought it was another really hard-fought game for us,” Huskies coach Pete Hutchins said. “I thought High Point Christian did an unbelievable job defensively; it was a physical game, especially on the ball.”

High Point Christian was led by Jackson Kent’s 14 points and Diante Baldwin’s 13.

“It was a tough loss for us tonight; we got beat by a good team,” HPC coach Brandon Clifford said. “We’re a little hobbled, a little shorthanded and against a good team, you have take advantage.”

The Cougars (11-2) will face Word of God or Webb at 2:20 p.m. on Saturday in the Summit third-place game.
