AIR FRANCE PLANE CRASHED INTO OCEAN INTACT
Although initial reports had the Air France plane that crashed last month breaking up in the air, now CNN is reporting that the jet was intact when it hit the water at a high rate of speed.
My take: My heart goes out even more to those that died in the crash. That has to be some serious terror to know that you’re going to die the way those 228 who were on board did.
ASPHYXIATION KILLED CARRADINE
A medical examiner has determined that asphyxiation is what killed former “Kung Fu” star David Carradine in Bangkok on June 4.
My take: But was it part of a sex act? We don’t know yet — and neither did the medical examiner, who said, “… (N)ow why that happened is still what we’re working on.”
MANNY SET TO RETURN TONIGHT
Manny Ramirez is scheduled to make his return to the L.A. Dodgers tonight after serving his 50-game suspension for performance-enhancing drugs.
My take: Not that the Dodgers missed him; when he was suspended, L.A. was 6 1/2 games up in the National League West — they’re 7 up going into tonight’s game.
Also, if you’d like to see our good friend Randy Capps’ All-Star ballot, here it is. As always, a great effort by the one they call Mr. Excellence.

Good call on all those, Capps. Pujols is a monster.

The guy is unreal. I swear, I would never pitch him.
Bases loaded, two-run lead, bottom of the ninth. If he comes up, I’m holding up four fingers.

Does anyone know if Pujols was or is juiced?

Two weeks ago they were saying that clothing stripped from the bodies was indicative of a mid-air break up. Now it seems they are changing the story. Not that new details can’t change the cause but…
It looks much better for the company and future sales if the accident can be blamed on a faulty component (pitot tube) or pilot error.
Personally I don’t think they’ll ever truly know what happened.
