Final: The Blue Devils took command early, racing to an 18-4 lead, and were never seriously threatened. The lead never dropped below double digits. SL’s biggest lead was at 24 in the final period. Alex Graham, who didn’t play the entire first quarter, led the Devils (5-6) with 21 points, followed by Quan Outlaw (14), Devon Koonce (11), and Eddie Colie (10). Thomas Fryar led Jones (5-2) with 20. Jameri Hargett and Josh Brown also hit double figures with 13 and 10, respectively.

Final: North Lenoir (6-4) places three players in double figures: Tim Roberts (23), Tyler Potter (17), and Chris McPhail (15). The Hawks played an absolutely brilliant first quarter (33 points) and never looked back. They led 29-9 at one point in the first period. The margin never dipped below eight the rest of the way. The Panthers (3-5) were paced by Kyle Rhodes with 19 points and Daniel Outlaw and Kyle Simpson, who each added 12.

East Duplin will play in Saturday’s 4:30 consolation contest, while the Hawks will play for the tourney title at 8 p. m.
